Abstract
Glucose toxicity is an epidemic problem leading to the insulin resistance and the development of obesity, pre-diabetes and Type 2 diabetes in both children and adults. In addition to poor health and early death, this is costing our healthcare systems a fortune to treat diabetes and its complications. Glucose is not a passive bystander in our bloodstream but is a toxic and reactive compound. Glucose reacts with all of the proteins in our body forming GLYCATED PROTEINS.
